REGISTRATION CLOSED: Walking the Tides – Vernal Equinox with Elizabeth Autumnalis

Date/Time
03/26/2019
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Ever notice that our local seasons don’t tend to match up quite exactly with the Wheel of the Year? This is because it is based in the folklore and seasonal tides tied to Europe, rather than the land that we live in. Join us while we delve deeper into this time of thaw, the first inkling of the Vernal Equinox. Learn the vernal rites of the Turning of the Tides and apply them for a deeper working with the spirit of place.

Walking the Tides is a workshop and ritual series designed to aid in the self-exploration of the wheel of the year. Many people are familiar with the Neo-pagan concept of the Wheel of the Year, but haven’t delved too deeply into the inner mysteries of the land they celebrate on. Learn about the flora, fauna and Genius Loci that are active on the land you live on. Come and turn the seasons that you experience with the land of place.

Cost to register is $30. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Temple of Witchcraft.

Elizabeth Autumnalis is a lifelong witch, writer, ritualist, and professional psychic. Growing up in Salem MA in the early 90s, she was fully immersed in the witchcraft community from a very early age. It is because of this that she was able to develop the tools needed to forge her own personal path, as well as formal training through multiple initiatory traditions. She is an initiate of the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School as well as a Deputy Minister for the Pisces ministry. Elizabeth writes for Patheos Pagan in her blog “Hawthorne & the Rose” and runs a business under the same name selling magical wares, bone readings, and other services.
