Restoration from the Cosmic Fall with Christopher Penczak
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
So many traditions have the idea that we have fallen from grace. There was a time of oneness with all things, then separation and division. Myths include the Fall of Lucifer, Expulsion from Eden, the End of Zep Tepi, the Sinking of Lemuria and Atlantis, and the End of Camelot. We see it in our own history, through the Dark Ages to the World Wars. Yet our spiritual systems speak of restoration and reunion, ranging from the Salvation of Christ to the End of the Mayan Calendar. There are cosmic cycles of time and understanding, often depicted through the Four Ages, but true restoration is personal work, requiring each of us to act in small and large ways to perform tikkun olam, the repair, restoration and healing of the world as part of our work as divine beings. As in alchemy, one must divide, purify and reunite, dissolve and coagulate. Through visionary meditation, explore your soul’s participation in the cosmic fall and learn your work in the restoration. Discuss techniques and rituals that will aid your own process of healing and reunion.
